Giving an old family estate a new life, on lake Llanquihue.
There are few cabins in as stunning of a location Bordemundo in Puerto Varas. Foot steps away from the shore of Llanquihue lake, minutes from the center of town (not to close though).
Beneath a location that was wasting away, Javiera saw vintage cabins with lots of promise. Since deciding to resettle the family land and build a new life away from busy bustle of city life. Two of the existing cabins have been refurbished and two new cabins have been built on the land.
A CABIN OWNER’S DREAM
Bordemundo is unique because even though the interior was dated, the structure was excellent and the cabins retained some of its original charm from decades past. After a few years of hard work. The result is a beautiful, cozy space that fits its surroundings. A beautiful land that borders the lake, thats well maintained and makes one feel at one with nature.
We couldn’t imagine not sharing such an incredible part of the world with others.
Putting your feet up or jetting into town for an afternoon. The choice is yours, while spending some well deserved down time. It’s all about getting away from the crazy side of life down here. But admittedly there is a lot one can venture out and do and see.
The best part for us though is, waking up and loving what we do. While getting to enjoy the extraordinary beauty the is on our door step.
We really try make sure everyone leaves with a piece of here in their hearts.
